U-14 Boys Dynasty wins 2nd Place

The U12G Pearland Select Stars have kicked off the 2008 with a first place finish in the most competitive open bracket at the 2008 Galveston County Youth Soccer Tune-Up Tournament. The bracket was made up of U13/14 teams with the Stars being the youngest at U12. The team had an excellent weekend of play being the highest ranked team after group play that was capped off with an exciting 2-1 win in the final. Way to go Stars!

Having never played as a team before, the U11G Pearland Xtreme entered into the Texas Heatwave Fall Kickoff Classic - Division One in August 2008 winning their bracket and finishing second overall out of eight teams. A great way to start the Fall 2008 season!

The Pearland U11B Cougars placed 1st in the South Texas Cup Eastern District Tournament over the weekend of May 3rd & 4th. Scores of 5-0, 2-1 and 1-1 provided points necessary to finish on top. The 2-1 game was won in exciting fashion over the eventual 2nd place team, with the game winner hitting the back of the net with 2 minutes remaining! The Pearland Cougars advance to the South Texas Cup State Tournament to be played May 17th & 18th in San Antonio.

Congratulations to the U14 Girls Pearland "Pride" Soccer Team for taking 2nd place at the South Texas District Cup the weekend of May 3rd & 4th, 2008. The team will be representing Pearland as well as STYSA Eastern Division in Pflugerville, Texas on May 17th & 18th, 2008, for the 'State Title!!' Good job girls, we are so very proud of all the girls!
